This was the headline for Leonard Duran 3. Leonard walked away with a decisive win. Duran threw more punches but connected on a poor percentage. Leonard employed effective movement and although throwing less punches his connect rate was considerable higher. There was some late drama when Ray was cut badly although Duran could not capitalize on the injury. Duran was coming off a 10 month layoff of the entertaining fight with Iran Barkly while Leonard had a shorter layoff after the controversial Draw with Thomas Hearns which was entertaining as well.

    Now for my Questions.
Going into the fight what did you think the result would be?
Could Duran have been more aggressive after cutting Ray?
    Was Duran intimated ?

I was sure that Leonard would win, even though I was hoping Duran would.

The cut happened in the 12th and Duran didn't have much left in the tank.

Duran wasn't intimidated, just too old to beat a top level fighter with speed and movement.
