Georgie used his strength to push fighters into punching range. I'll rather see that than a heavyweight that uses his strength to hold on to somebody when they get into punching range because they don't want to be hit like the current lot.

I wonder how long this thread will be spared from getting drenched with "knowledge" and "facts" from some of the “finest” contributors on the site, although one of them has already weighed in on the subject, but I expected so much more... I am quite disappointed actually.

In the end it will probably get closed as all the others though.

In the minority, but think that Prime Frazier could've beaten Prime Foreman.Under the right circumstances, of course.

I'll join you in the minority. Frazier survives the early rounds, take Foreman into deep water, and drowns him.

              Styles

Styles make fights. Foreman's style just dominates Frazier's. He beat him too badly to argue otherwise.

                Dirty Tactics!

I agree about Foreman and his illegal Tactics in this fight, it should have been addressed the 1st moment it happened, but it was not, if it had, yes maybe Frazier survives another round or even 2 more, but that's it, I see Foreman catching up with him either way and bombing him out, as for Frazier never being able to ever hurt Foreman that's totally a mistake for anyone to think so, Frazer had one of the best single Power Punches in history in his Left Hook, he could hurt anyone with it, no one had a better Chin than Ali and Frazier flattened him with it, he still got up, but that's a result of the best chin ever, not any doubt in Fraziers power, but sill no matter the situation he never beats Foreman, as for his eyes, his weight, his this, his that, well every fighter that's ever stepped into the ring, has his, this and his that and issues of some kind, to some point, so they should not be brought up or a factor, the fact stands, that he fought Foreman as far as I can say, near his Prime, it's his own fault he was not in 100% shape if you think that, or if it's true, maybe he thought he was in the shape he needed to be against Foreman, from around 68 or so up to the Foreman fight I would think "Frazier was in the Prime of his Career, maybe he was nearing the very end of Prime time against Foreman, but I think he was still in it, it's his own fault if not in his best shape, but he was till Prime I believe.
