Didn't SRL's sister marry Benitez? Ray says in the book that they never fought again and he only saw Benitez occasionly at fights during the 80's until he visited Benitez in a home about a decade ago. Huh?

Wilfred and Ray's sister were engaged, that's all I know.

Seems unlikely as Leonard's sister name was Sharon and Benitez wife's name was Elizabeth.

They dated at one time when they were young.
Wilfred lives at an assisted living facility that he was placed in prior to his Mom death. She took care of him for years as debt and ill health progressed.
At one time the WBC federations allowed him 200. to 300. American dollars as part of a "pension fund"! Christ sakes!!!!! MF'ers!

From what I've recently read he doesn't know who he was most days! Sad!
