I like the way that Ruddock/Sanders match up. Most talented is more difficult. Cooney probably had the most potential.

Cooney vs bonavena is the best fight IMO

The others all seem like mismatches, especially in the chin departments

      Tua would stop Lyle
      Shavers stops Golata
      Sanders probably beats ruddock
Mercer vs peter would be an ugly bruising fight

I think that the guy with the most potential was Gerry Cooney...He was not ready for that Holmes fight. Not saying he would have ever beat Larry but still...He needed a few more fights. That fight basically wrecked his career. He had real talent...Dat left hook would knock a wall down.

I think the best fight would be Peter-Mercer.

        I think Tua beats Lyle
Golata-Shavers is the most difficult to predict IMO. I think Andrew would win but its hard to say. Both guys could crack and had shaky chins.
        I think Sanders beats Razor
        I think Gerry beats Oscar
        I think Mercer beats Peter.

IMO, Cooney-Bonavena is a mismatch. Very bad matchup for Oscar.

That could be,, none of the choices seem like true 50/50'fights...

I am less familiar with bonovena, then the rest if the fighters mentioned, so I found that fight most interesting..
Ruddock-sanders would also being interesting, but I think sanders quicker hands would be the difference

Shavers Golota would last 1 minute. Golota would have that blank stare the first time Shavers hit him.

Tua beats Lyle and stops him late

Golota cries for a stoppage and runs away

Ruddock is far superior to Sanders

Bonavena beats Cooney in a great fight!

                Peter/Mercer is a toss up
