My father taught me many years ago not to waste time arguing with irrational people. That means we are done here.

but at the end of their careers, i felt leonard was the one who "lost the mind game" in the second fight, not being able to prove himself the better fighter. although i doubt duran "no mas"-ed for a mind game :P...

just a random food for thought!
I agree to a certain extent to what you are saying and it's a great point you brought up. SRL didn't get the same kind of respect for beating Duran as he would have if he had beaten him by KO or UD. SRL knew he was the better fighter in the 2nd outing and new he had beat him handedly but the media was almost completely infatuated and in disarray with why such a warrior like Duran would quit to a fighter he had just beat in the biggest fight of his life. Because of this SRL felt like he didn't get the respect he deserved from that fight but although he might think that I call bull. As we all know the excuses Duran had never seemed to hold up and SRL had simply beat and humiliated one of the most feared top p4p boxers in history and made him quite like a coward.

            Wrong answer.......Duran didn't quit...he halted the fight....Duran is number 6
all time great...Leonard is around 15...end of story..

What do you think no mas means? Of course Duran is ranked higher then Ray Leonard. He was a natural lightweight and competed up to super middleweight. Duran's boxing skills and ring generalship is vastly overrated. With out a doubt best lightweight of all time.

So Sugar Ray Leonard the guy that beat Duran twice is just a ranked boxer.....I wonder what you think about Hearns, the guy that pole axed Duran and would have KO'd him again and again if they fought twice more. Boxing skills/ring generalship and resume don't mean **** when you're out gunned by a guy like Hearns.

Haha what ever I'm not gonna argue everyone is entitled to their opinion. Your probably going to hate this but if you consider Duran 6 atg then where do you put Ray Robinson, pacquiao, Mayweather, Henry Armstrong, ali......
