ESPN classic ringside: Sugar Ray Robinson

Did anyone else watch it this weekend? I watched the whole 6 hours and totally enjoyed it. Sugar Ray Robinson was amazing, no question. The showed some priceless footage of Ray training when he was an amatuer, even showed one of his amateur fights, when he won the golden gloves in 1939. They showed a lot of his greatest fights, like the St. Valentines day massacre against Lamotta, his fight againt Graziano where he knocked his mouthpiece clear across the ring, and his fights againt Fullmer and Basilio. I`ve always read and heard about him but seeing alot of this footage really made me appreciate him even more.

I watched a bit of it; it was very interesting. Good piece of work by the ESPN team. I found "the old itallian slugger" hilarious. They asked him, "So what did you think when you were standing in front of this guy? (Ray Robinson)". He was like, "Ohh, I just took it as just another fight"--classic stuff, lol.
