  • What was the main factor that hector Camacho was never stopped

Chin, speed or what else aided him to remain standing at the last bell despite facing some fearsome puncher's?

He was a very clever tricky fighter that was very difficult to land cleanly on. His speed combined with being a southpaw made it very difficult for his opponents to get settled. He was also really tough and had a great chin and his style reminds me of a mongoose up against a snake, great reactions and very aware. When you put it all together with his great self belief and confidence and pride you can see why he was never stopped.

He lost 6 of 65 and was stopped three times. However as stated he had a good chin and was a durable fighter.

I do not think Hector Sr was stopped at all his son was and engaged in roughly as many pro fights. Hector sr was finally stopped out of the ring.

He was tough, and then after the rosairio fight, he became much more of a mover and didnt take the chances he did early in his career

camacho was in close to 90 fights, and he was never stopped.

I have heard this as well he was more crowd pleasing and aggressive before tasting Rosario's Bomb like right hand.

Sums it up pretty good, I think. At his best, a true delight for every boxing supporter.

After taking that punch from Rosario he spent the rest of his career running like a gurl :chuckle9:
