I think once you get past the Moore's, Charles', Spinks, The Conn and the Tunneys, a lot of light heavyweights get overlooked or even paid attention to. Greb had a great light heavyweight career yet people only see him as a middleweight.

One of my favorites to watch, he was right before I started watching, but one of the best guys to watch on YouTube. A lot of classic battles, win or lose..

I don't think he is top 10 all time at that division. Maybe you can have him 9 or 10, but I think he falls somewhere between 11-15, and it's not for lack of greatness, more so it's just such a deep division historically

Conteh wasn't anywhere near his prime though.

Heart of a lion, and a punch like a mule's kick!

Man, I had a man crush on Saad.
Those battles with Marvin Johnson were things that never left my memory.
That one punch ko of Pete McIntryre, the busted lip, & come from behind ko of Murray Sutherland. Crushing Jerry the Bull Martin. he cleaned out that division.
Trust me by telling you, Spinks wanted no part of him.
I cried like a baby when the "Canden Buzzsaw" put and end to the reign of Saad.
I even had the Philly style haircut like dude.
Even Mike Tyson cried when Braxton won both fights.
Gone, but not forgotten. Saad will always be in my memories like Ali, Arguello, Pryor, Holmes, Zarate, Leonard, Hagler, & Benitez as my Friday night, Saturday afternoon warriors in childhood in the late 70's & 80's!: Thanks for remembering a great, great warrior! boxing:

very exciting style I think he is underappreciated because of the rich history of the division lets hope his name does not get lost because he accomplished a lot.

Loved Saad but Spinks would've dealt him the "L" in a big way.
