Both where champs at 154 & made several defensive but both failed to get that defining Win, i personally think Jackson woulda outboxed Vasquez by decision

Would have been an interesting match between 2 fairly underrated fighters imo..

JDD reminded me a little of SRL, think it was his appearance more than anything..
H2h though, JCV had just the kind of style to upset the momentum of Jackson, just as fellow Argie fighter, Cobb Castro did to him.... Sure it'd have been JDD, doing all the work with the eye catching combos, fleet in and out footwork, but I see Vasquez pumping his left hook into the body of Jackson, infrequently, but with just enough poke and regularity to slow down JDJ as the fight progressed... Jackson had a very short prime for a fighter who didn't get hit a great deal, which leads me to believe he may have had issues with stamina/conditioning
