A better question should be...Who are these "alot" or "many" people who thought Spinks could beat Tyson, because according to an article I read a couple of weeks ago in regards to the pre-fight press conferance, the vast majority of the boxing writers in attendance predicted that Tyson was going to go through Spinks much in the manner he did (Torres book on Tyson covers this to a lesser extent, as well, as do the odds that heavily favoured Tyson to win...from memory it was something like 7-1 or 8-1)?
I've often heard the "many thought Spinks would win" comment from those who feel the need to bolster that win of Tyson's, but for the life of me I can't recall one single opinion which backs up that statement.
