Who had the most powerful uppercut in boxing history?

P4P and in the heavyweight division.

Also is it true that you should NOT shift weight from one foot to the other on uppercuts, or do you still shift weight like any other power punch!?

      Tyson
      Lewis
      Olivares
      Shavers

JMM is one of my favorites but probably not as powerful as the other guys.

From everyone i have seen with my own eyes, i gotta say tyson,,

The uppercuts that ron lyles landed on foreman were pretty brutal as well, and deserve a mention

Those are the first 2 things i think of when uppercuts come up,, and lewis uppercutting tyson and vitali also stand out

In a single fight, the uppercut that bowe hit holyfield with in the 10th round of the first fight was about as brutal an uppercut you will see

Pound for pound Maidana deserves a mention. Lucas too.

I don't know if he had the most powerful uppercut in boxing history, but Tyson deployed it often, mostly in combinations and with devastating effect. Foreman also had a decent one, most notably against Frazier, as he achieved lift-off...
