I never once fought any of his family members or ever even saw him at the ABF's back in the day because we all fought in the same state. I never knew that he and his brother represented the USA in international bouts as amateurs. A natural super middle winning the Heavyweight title? That just rediculous. But Chris Byrd, don't know nothing 'bout him or anything 'bout no boxing........... Rockin'

He bulked up for the money, and it worked. Byrd made millions as a heavyweight. He would have made a fraction of that in a lower weight class, even if he were better.Comment

I do know that Chris Byrd was one of the most well schooled and talented fighters of any time. The guy is severley under rated......... Rockin'
