Just like the Wlad thread.. let's do one about Lennox.

So who's the best fighter in history you will pick Prime Lennox to beat?

Anyone that's not called Ali, Holmes or prime Foreman.

I think prime Lennox would have a shot at prime Holmes.

It's hard to say who he would beat and wouldn't beat, because in his prime, Lennox was a very very sound professional. A prime Holyfield from around 93-96 would be a very tough fight for Lennox too.

Agreed on the Holyfield front. You only have to watch their rematch to wonder what prime Holyfield would have done. I'd have his prime between 1990 and 1992 however.

As for the best I'd tip Lewis to beat; I've got a sneaky su****ion that a well prepared, motivated and nervous Lewis might be a nasty matchup for Joe Louis. I may well be wrong here though!!!

I think Prime Ali, Holmes, Foreman and Tyson might be steps too far for Lennox.....possibly Liston too.

A fight with bowe would be the most impressive, don't think he would survive 12 rounds with a prime tyson and holmes is too close to call

The thing about Holyfield, you could see how his natural build changes from the early Bowe fight through to the second, to the Tyson fights. He was much bigger. That's why I think, at heavyweight, that's probably the best Holyfield there was. Maybe from 92-95 ish. But you could see how better on his feet he was in the early 90s. So I won't argue too much.

Prime Tyson vs Prime Lewis? I don't know. Would probably have to side with Lewis slightly. Simply based on the fact that Tyson had a bully's mentality. But Tyson could beat anyone in history on his day so it's tough.

                  Jack Dempsey.

I would pick Ali, Louis, Holmes, Foreman, Liston, and Frazier over Lewis. Tyson probably 50-50, Holyfield about the same.

Not sure about Liston. Depends on who shows up.
