Despite the Gatti's and Mcguigans, really the IBHOF consists of people who deserve to be in the HOF in my opinion.

There are a few bloopers, but more often than not I can nod to the person being inducted.

What's your thought when it comes to putting the likes of Sam Langford above Muhammad Ali?

Langford is greater no doubt in my mind. Langford as a small black former lightweight beat maybe the GOAT lightweight Joe Gans, as a teen, then got ducked by Johnson in a rematch at heavyweight. Let's let that sink in for a second, this is all while beating very very good heavyweights.

It'd be like if Mickey Walker had actually beat Greb in there fight and then went on his heavyweight tear.

              • For people arguing about Wilde in the top 20 what about guys like Packy Mcfarland and Holman Williams ?

He's undoubtedly a great. And I admit he's lower on my list than what he rightfully should be. I was just wondering what made you put him higher.

He's got an incredible resume, but so has Ali and don't forget he was soundly beaten by Johnson the first time round, though of course getting into the #1 position for years afterwards.

Best wins include Gans, Wills, Jeanette (only KO of his career if I'm not mistaken), Blackburn, Godfrey... Flowers maybe? Who would you put in there?

And his draw with Walcott. Oh, and I don't really count the Ketchel fight because of the circumstances surrounding that fight.

I don't think Walker's resume can be compared to Langford's.

Langford has a string of impeccable wins added a lot of really really good depth wins like Blackburn and Godfrey.

So does Walker- though. I'm just saying, imagine Walker had beaten Greb (a better win than Langford over Gans in the rematch) and did as well as he did at middleweight and then light heavy and heavyweight. He'd be a shoe in for top 10 atg

You really rank Chocolate over Holman Williams?
