Right Moorer beat Holyfield period. Quarry never beat a all time great. The point is he was stopped by Ali in both fights. If he was so great of a boxer who could out box Mercer then he wouldn't of been hit much would he? Norton according to most people who don't know boxing has a glass chin. Yet he was a able to go 3 fights with Ali and not be hurt but the great Jerry Quarry who never beat a all time great in his career was stopped 2 times.

Even his win over Ron Lyle is overrated. Lyle was green and I am sure he came in to the bout feeling like he could easily beat a over the hill Quarry. Its like Tyson took Douglas likely and was stopped. It doesn't mean it would happen again.

Quarry wasn't a journeyman fighter but he was not in the same league as fighters like Moorer or Mercer.

Even your Foreman avoided Quarry crap shows you don't know boxing. There was never any roar for a Quarry Foreman bout. Foreman will tell how anything to day. How he was afraid to fight Foreman because he knows a lot of old school so called boxing experts like Quarry. Quarry himself stated this various times. They sparred a few rounds and Foreman was the strongest man he ever been in the ring with. That is all. Instead of reading and learning you just repeat what you heard.

The same person who will say Marciano could beat a guy like Tua by stoppage even though Tua walked through far bigger punches in his prime and not be stopped. The same type of person who will say Marciano could beat Lennox Lewis even though Marciano never got in the ring with a true sized modern heavyweight period never mind a great one like Lewis.

and so and so beat this guy but this guy ko'd this guy come on with your racist agenda to change the rules to fit your garbage who said Norton was a bum? and lets play your game Quarry took Lyle's punches to a decision and he nearly knocked Foreman out and knocked him down at least twice in what 6 or 7 rounds so by your garbage rules Quarry's chin is way better than Foremans and Ali got knocked down by Fraiser and Fraiser got knocked down 6 times in two rounds by Foreman But Ali was knocked down by Henery Cooper 1 time in what less than half a dozen rounds but fraiser could only do it once in over 40 rounds so cooper hit harder than Fraiser and and Ali and Lyle hit harder than Morrison cause he could not knock down foreman so the world is upsidedown and all existance is proved a dream and will end when you read this

Sam Peter isn't a big anything besides a fat slob. He couldn't knock Toney out because Peter isn't really much of a fighter. Tyson or Foreman in their primes would of both knocked Toney out.

Anything over 205 is a modern heavyweight. Marciano weighed 180 so he wasn't and never faced a modern heavyweight besides a washed up Joe Louis.

Quarry was a great fighter now? Why? Who did he beat who was great? Yet the same people will say Michael Moorer is a bum. Well at least Moorer beat Holyfield a all time great. Quarry was on par with Moorer? So Quarry could beat Holyfield now? Get the hell out of here.

Quarry was better than Mercer? You mean the Mercer who went toe to toe with Lennox Lewis and a lot of people think Mercer won. Lewis would of starched Quarry. Lewis is a bigger puncher than Norton, Frazier or Ali

If Quarry had a great chin then again why did he get knocked out by Ali and the "glass" chin was never hurt by Ali?

Foreman would of struggled against Quarry? Yeah the same Quarry that got knocked out by Frazier and Norton and Foreman knocked both Norton and Frazier out in 2 rounds. Yeah because clearly Quarry had a better chin than Norton and Frazier who both fought Ali 3 times and were never knocked out. Quarry was knocked out both times he faced Ali.

There is nothing Quarry did in his career that makes him special. He had a few decent wins. Nothing to get all giddy about.

All fighters of that era were willing to face each other. So why give Quarry so much credit? Because he is white?

Quarry won 4 and drew one time? That the **** are you talking about? Ali beat him 2 times, Frazier beat him 2 times. Norton beat him once. That is 5 loses all by stoppage I might add. Foreman would of destroyed him if they fought too.
