Trinadad vs hearns?

How do you guys see this playing out?

I think hearns has the edge on everything except maybe his chin.

I see hearns tasting the canvas from a left hook recovering and eventually knocking Tito out. Only because hearns liked to fight and Tito was prone to flash knock downs so Im thinking if hearns hurts him he might get over confident an get dropped.

What y'all think?

If Hearns boxes, he dominates. Tommy was a better pure boxer than DLH or Winky. But you would be naïve to assume that Trinidad isn't very dangerous the entire fight. One clean left hook could change things suddenly.

I know that but hearns liked to fighter and loss fights he shouldn't have and had hard times with fighters he shouldn't have. But I also see Trinidad going to sleep from a long range right hand.

You have to favor Tito, both guys can KO the other but I think Tito can take a couple big shots before getting KO'd where as Hearns would be in trouble after the first big shot he took.

Also there is no chance Hearns boxes Trinidad, it would be a war from the second the bell rings

Tommy could end it early. Felix had a habit of starting off shakily and if pitted against a world class fighter with KO power such as Hearns, Tito may not even see the third or fourth round.

just a better all around fighter than tito...

I think Hearns will use his superior straight punch arsenal, keeping Tito out of range to land his own punches, before lowering the boom and knock him out with his right hand in the mid to late rounds. But Hearns didn't have a granite chin, and Tito would be dangerous as long as it last.

at 147 tito was vulnerable early so I say hearns by ko inside 2. same thing at 154 but at 160 not so sure. if hearns don't get tito first n early, tito liable to hurt n finish hearns anywhere along the run of the fight. great thread, 2 bad fast wreckin machines at 147. the other scenario, hearns giving tito a backpedaling lesson like Oscar, maybe but Oscar took punches way better than hearns did. odds r tito catches hearns sometime down the stretch n finishes him. hearns early or tito late

Trinidad's 'creeping death' style would'nt work vs Hearns, who'd be far too busy for him.. Tito gets pipped in every department - reach,speed, mobility,power, and has the slightly weaker chin.
