Theres Sugar Ray Robinson, then theres the rest! Not sure why this pops up every week here or anywhere! Theres tons of video to watch and theres NO One thats even close!! Its like talking to Stevie Wonder and even Stevie knows the Sugarman is the very best!!! p4p the number boxer/fighter EVER!

Henry & Carmen were monsters and they were ATG's buts theres only one number ONE! Ray

could bob fitzsimmons be included in that crowd? i know he faught heavyweight but i heard he was practically a welter weight. if a welterweightcan hang with heavys and knock down jack demsey 6-7 times in a fight his got to be good.

I'm still confused as to how you want the fighters to be rated but I've put a best-to-worst list below.

              Robinson
              Armstrong
              Leonard
              Napoles
              Griffith
              Hearns
              Basilio
              Gavilan
              Walker
              Curry

Very nice. Gavilan too low for me though. Who was the best guy Hearns beat at 147?

In all honesty, Gavilan probably belongs above Basilio but I'm a big Basilio fan so favouritism has stepped in the way there

I think Hearns' demolition over a very solid fighter and champion in Pipino Cuevas is a great win for him.

To be fair Basilio is the man.

When he bossed Robinson in the corner of their first bout late in the rounds!
