      Thanks its great to see the pro champs as kids fighting their hearts out!!
      Prior held victories over the best amatuers of the day back then and some became pro champs and contenders. The announcer was talking about the great bouts that Aaron had with Hilmer Kanty who back then was the number two (behind Prior) lightweight (132lbs) in the country. I remember seeing all of them fight live back then. I believe Leonard lost to Prior also! Ray.

        NO he did not beat SRL!

        In the Amateurs Pryor lost twice to Howard Davis Jr. and once to Hilmer Kenty, he beat Thomas Hearns once, at the time of that fight, Pryor was way ahead of him as a future Pro, Hearns was far from being the Hitman, he never fought Sugar Ray Leonard in the Amateurs, Leonard even then was better than any of them and would have defeated them all, but they were all at LW, Leonard was not,
