Not that he would admit. If anyone could he wouldn't show it and they would feel they were wasting their time. I mean Ali was only human, but he covered any weakness well. Probably too much pride to let it ever show if they did get to him. But he was one of the best at it(getting under an opponents skin).

I think Foreman and Liston did. I think Ali was a bit afraid but it made him careful and better.

Oscar Bonavena definitely got under Ali's skin!! Calling him a chicken, a draft dodger and a ****sexual. Ali was seriously irritated with him.

Ali got into some trouble in his predicted round too (round 9) and genuinely looked pretty average until round 15.

Post prison Mike Tyson was far inferior in terms of ring skills in comparison with his prime; but I don't doubt that Ali would be nervous of Mike in press conferences. Tyson of course took a chunk out of Lennox Lewis's leg!!!

But I can't think of a faster witted heavyweight with a more razor tongue than Ali.

Clubber Lang from Rocky 3 would have a good go though! Shame he is only factional...... Ha ha

There aren't any heavyweights that were good enough **** talkers but there are a few guys at other weight classses that could hold their own

A prime Rid**** Bowe and his intensely irritating shadow Rock Newman spring to mind as a leftfield but still credible choice...

.....they 'double-teamed' opponents in a very effective way and many of their press conferences seemed to end up with a brawl.

Rid**** used his sharp humour and size whilst Newman was prepared to be outrageous, deeply insulting, provocative and sometimes downright weird.

In real life I don't believe in hitting people outside the ring. But I do rather like the 'concept' of an Ali-Bowe press conference and Newman being his usual bumptious self.

Eventually the fat, bearded man in the absurd shirt opens his mouth once too often and The Greatest sends Newman cartwheeling off the back of the podium with a casual, half-powered jab!

Foreman's power probably worried him a bit, Liston may have also threw him off before the first fight.

It obviously irked him to be called Clay.

He hated Patterson for it enough to carry him to inflict more damage.

Frazier also got to him with it. He was very defensive when asked about Frazier. Almost seemed a little insecure.

And that song Terrel made got under his skin really bad. 'Come home, young Cassius'?
