You can view fighters careers, but not their weight for the fight.

This is messed up. You can't look up everything on the fight.

I noticed that too today. I was looking up Arguello's fight record on boxrec and wanted to know how much he weighed in for the Mancini fight, but I didn't see it.

That's going to be a right pain if it's permanent.

Definitely. When a heavyweight weighs in I often use boxrec to compare it to his previous weights to look for a clue in his conditioning.

I could understand that it might a lot of work gathering all the weights for fights, but why drop all the listed weights that they already had? Hopefully it is only temporary because what weight a fighter fought at is very important for many reasons.

I was wondering what that was all about.

I see that now, if you sign in you can see the weights. That would have been bad for me, I keep my fight collection by weight class in chronological order. If I check to see if I have a fight already I check the weight class first.

                Glad it's still there!

It makes no difference , today the fighters make weight 2 days before the bout so they rehydrate as much as 14 to 20 pounds. If they weighin the day of......................then it means something!!! A welter can make 147 and fight at 161 and that wrong. Five to six over is fair, fighting 20 pounds over the limit isn't right the divisions are neglected! Ray

of course it makes a difference. There were a lot of old fights in which middleweights like Greb were fighting light heavyweights like Gene Tunney. And to know the weight difference means a lot.
