lou ambers vs henry armstrong

I am looking for some discussion on why lou ambers gave henry such a hard time and is not rated anywhere as high on all time great lists. Did he have a certain style that troubled henry?

Look into the fights, Lou Ambers is definitely a great but in the 1st bout Armstrong was penalized 4 points for low blows and Ambers won the SD, meaning if them low blows were not counted Armstrong would of won, likewise with the 2nd fight, Armstrong was penalized 5 rounds for low blows, 4 of those rounds he should of won clearly from what I'm reading, closer fight but Ambers won both fights because of the fouls.
