I'll call this one evens at their respective weight classes, both had incredible abilities to hold a shot.

As for overall I'll shade Leonard by virtue of his ability to hold Hearn's shots in both bouts; with particular emphasis on fight 2 where Ray rose from one of the most disgustingly sickening knockdowns I've ever seen. We all know that Duran was knocked out by Hearns.

After the 80s neither Leonard or Duran kept the same ability to hold a shot. So I'd be very disappointed to see any posters refer to either the Camacho fight against Leonard or the Joppy fight with Duran!

IN their primes, Leonard, overall, I would probably say Duran by a hair.

Neither had a good chin at all.

Leonard was stopped by Camacho, and Duran was stopped by Joppy.

I think you missed them in their prime. Maybe that was a joke post, I cannot tell on this forum sometimes.

In the second fight against Hearns in the third round, right before the knockdown in the 3rd round SRL took a huge right hand without going down. It was very hard with a sick sound. Leonard had a great chin.
