There was a time when I thought Hatton had ATG, or near-ATG, potential. But potential is interesting; performance is everything. Hatton had a great run, but ultimately he fell short of what he might have been. Still a Hall of Fame worthy career.

disagree with that, absolutely not an ATG obviously and to be quite honest, he isnt a HOF fighter either imo.

HOF fighters of hattons era are guys like pacman, mayweather, marquez etc.

he hasnt got a win over another HOF fighter that was in his prime also. he probably should have fought cotto at 140.
