From about 12/15 years ago. It was between two B list heavyweights from the late 90's. I think that one was a potential contender (who wasn't) & the other was an upper level trial horse.
It was a fairly dull fight but they touched gloves before the start of each round. The 'contender' was probably a couple of rounds behind the 'trial horse'. At the start of the 12th, Trial Horse walks out & extends his gloves & Contender smacks him in the chops. I think he then won by a KO much to the chagrin of the crowd - although he didn't break any rules.
I'm trying to remember the fighters. I believe it was broadcast on US tv, probably on ESPN2 or something.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
