Amongst big guys (6'3" +) who was the best in fighter?

Bowe was good at everything and he was big and strong to boot. Thats why he was so good. Lewis was big but not necessarily the strongest dude nor did he have the best chin, he had flaws. Bowe was damn good at everything and had heart too. Bowe is a hard guy to beat.

Agreed on all counts. Prime for prime I think I'd pick him over Lennox Lewis.

I can't think of a heavyweight in history who would easily beat a prime, well motivated Rid**** Bowe.

I would go with Norton too. I think he surpasses Bowe as a tall good inside fighter.

I'm gonna say the older Larry Holmes, Rid**** Bowe, and Evander Holyfield. Holmes was beautiful on the inside in the Mercer fight. Bowe and Holyfield both fought awesome in the trenches in their whole trilogy.
