Quick question, need help

I heard that one of the organisations, alphabet bodies has over 70 champs in the 17 divisions!!! Is this true and if so does anyone know which sanctioning body it is? Speedy responses will be met with green karma!

the WBA has the reputation for handing out all of the "interim titles" etc


not sure if that's what your looking for, but they do it more than the others

and i cant be quoted on that because i dont want to to go through the trouble of finding anything to be substantiated


sanctioning bodies make me pretty damn sick. i've gotten into the habit of "ranking fighters" in the divisions in which i'm the most interested in myself
informally
and in my head.

it makes things a hell of a lot easier, especially when there is no real lineage.

you need to figure out who is more active in the "local title" beacuse interim, standard and super will get you to 17*3=51 tops, but I would bet WBA.

i doubt he cares about that sort of thing outside of the impact it has on his job reporting, but it wouldn't surprise me if he was versed in it simply by virtue of necessity

i may have rememebred them having many interim champions at one weight class at one point in time, but it was brought up as a joke and i cant remember where i saw it.
