I'll throw in my two cents. The best 3 opponents Louis ever fought were Marciano, Walcott and Charles, in my opinion.
Buddy Baer, Abe Simon, Tony Galento, Billy Conn and Max Schmelling were something special as well.
Having Sharkey and Carnera on his resume isn't bad either, but since I can't give Marciano full credit for his victory over Louis, I can't give Louis full credit for his victory over Sharkey.
