And yet neither demonstrated the pace and pressure Dempsey did.

Dempsey was an extremely fast starter.

Marciano maintained a very high work rate into the 15th round.

Jeffries bout with Sharkey at Coney Island for 25 rounds was known for its brutality and brutal conditions.

James Jeffries outweighed Fitzsimmons by 40 lbs and Corbett by around 30 lbs.

Yet Fitzsimmons gave Jeffries a beating in the second fight, and Corbett made him look amateurish in their first fight, before they were both eventually worn down by the size and strength disadvantage more so than by conditioning.

There is a very long history of lighter heavyweights destroying larger heavyweights. Size is the last variable to be considered. Both Fitz and Corbett were renowned fighters. Fitz knocked out quite a few large opponents as he was a paralyzing puncher. Legs if a lightweight but the upper body if a heavyweight.

              - -Ad Wolgast KOed Battling Nelson in the 40th of a 45 rd fight where he hit the deck in the 22nd, an unbelievably fast and furious fight.

Now don't try that at home.

              Records here-

              https://boxrec.com/media/index.php/B...t_(2nd_meeting)

JL went 74 or so against Kilrain in a bare Knucks thriller where Kilrain couldn't get off his stool.

Corbett/Jackson went 60 but by the 40th were closer to two drunks holding each other up than prize fighters.

Keep your fantasies to yourself. No one wants any kind of "roll" with a fat dimwit such as U.

Uhhhh.... you're an idiot. goes without saying. but needs to be said. you're a giant idiot.

Dempsey's workrate was insane and he never faded in fights.

The others couldn't match him for output.
