    It says something about NSB.

If you placed a poll here as to who was the greatest heavyweight that ever lived, I've got a feeling Louis would come out top.

I personally would go with Ali, but I've noticed a gradual shift among history section posters towards Louis's claim.

Wlad is a good heavyweight, I think his sheer caution, jab and heavy hands would cause many an ATG problems. But with Louis he is beaten for speed, workrate, tenacity and combination punching.

But to knowledgeable guys, especially in this section, he is far from underrated.

He is considered if not THE greatest Heavyweight of all time, the lowest he is widely ranked is #2.

And in my mind a Top 20 ATG.
I rank him much higher than that. Top 10 ATG.

Louis was an unreal offensive fighter. I've said before that I have reservations comparing fighters whose primes were 70-80 years apart in a head to head matchup, but there isn't any question about Louis's greatness or his place in history far, far, far ahead of either Wlad or Vitali.

25 title defenses, K.O power in both hands, could knock you out with a 6 inch punch

Even taking in Wlad's size and how good he currently is at safe-guarding a fight, he's never fought anyone like Louis. Theres very little chance if any that he'd be able to keep him at bay.

                Louis was extraordinary.

Word, Louis is the absolute best HW to watch, and compare to when learning the hands and feet of the sweet science. For head movement I like to go a bit more modern mostly because camera work is better these days. Anyway Louis is the text-book boxer-slugger. The most well rounded, and efficient boxer to ever grace the division....he'd kill Wlad.
