Tua's chin is much sturdier then Shaver's. Given both guys will land bombs I'll pick the guy who can take as well as he can give.

And if there's such a wide margin or disparity between them, why propose this fantasy match up? Don't you already know the answer then?

My prediction is, Tua weathers Shavers' early attacks and cracks his chin somewhere in the early mid rounds. KO5 for Tuaman.
And btw, I scored the Ibeabuchi fight even.Originally posted by Pastrano View PostI see many of you have misunderstood the point of this thread. Its not just a fantasy matchup, but also a comparison between the two. Dig? If I wanted to do just a matchup, I'd done it in the fantasy fights forum.
Pastrano,
You seem out of sorts today. "You're WRONG! Dead wrong"....."...many of you have misunderstood the point of this thread. It's not a fantasy match up"......the Kapish in another thread.....
You flexing kinda strong today, ain't you?
Instead of debating or rehashing, I'll just stick to one question....
If this ain't a fantasy match up, why did you write "Who do you think would win?" and also, offer your opinion on the outcome of said fantasy match up?
And also, I have no grudge against you at all. You and me always got along great until your junk today. I still ain't mad or nothing. I just figure you're having a rough day. No big deal bud.

Foreman had a better chin then lyle but lyle hurt foreman more. If shaver lands first which I think he could he could hurt and stop Tia who's been hurt before a couple times. It'll be a quick fight. In a durable war of attrition war if it don't end quick then yeah tua but I don't think it'll be that it'll be fireworks that'll be about who lands the best shot first.

No big deal bud.I was not at all having a rough day. But your opinion on this stinks. Can I say that? Ok. We've straightened that out. Now we can go back to getting along.
You are welcome to say my opinion stinks too, but im being backed on this by more people than you are.

Even if you win this thread, I'll be OK. Honest, it won't bother me! I'm a pretty secure guy.
I'm pulling up out of this thread now. It took a funny detour!
PS- You DID have this thread set up as a fantasy match up, as I already indicated, and your mind was already made up, as I showed in the quotes you gave.
Just saying.......

If that makes sense....

this sounds very good to me
in a historic matchup between HW's with a great punch the chin is the most important factor
these guys are going to hit each other. they arent going to finish the fight at 100%.
tua had better conditioning and the better chin
i think he wins in a gunfight
