One Name Jimmy Wilde........ Now Scotland's had some great fighters like Benny Lynch and Ken Buchanan, but seriously, Wilde was some kind of freak. I wasn't referring to Longshanks in regard to that contest, still not much humour there, even 7 centuries later. I have never been to either country, which do you recommend ??

Calslapsge ?????..... I hope you don't mean that great sledgehammer hitter demon from pugilism hell, Joe Calzaghe. Big Joe once put his fist through a watermelon, why he once threw a punch so hard that when he missed a left hook when his opponent swayed back, he not only knocked they guy out with air pressure alone....... but the force of the air pressure also knocked his both of his opponents seconds.

Wilde must be the greatest British fighter. In fact an all-time British boxers top 10 would have Wilde, Welsh and Driscoll on there for certain, and maybe even Calzaghe. Lynch and Buchanan would be dead certs for that list too.

As for which I'd recommend, as much as I love Wales Edinburgh is probably my favourite city in Britain. Fuking cold though!

Calzaghe was a very good fighter. a great ABA fighter (one of the greatest i believe) and a very good world champion that always found a way to win !

I agree with you, Calzaghe was very good and I certainly don't hate him, I always wanted to see him button Mundine's lip. Calzaghe had one hell of a successful ring career, but he will never rank among ATG punchers or a great one, his strengths were all to do with his reach and height, he used these with maximum efficiency.
