Dempsey UD's Jeffries IMO, different skill levels here.

Not seen any Peter Jackson footage(both of them.)

Marciano against Baer is an odd one, I think Baer does give Marciano trouble with his style and that right hand but, eventually crumbles around 9.

Same story with Harry Wills only seeing a past prime version but, I would take Holyfield by stoppage.

I picked Dempsey V Jeffries because most experts back then are split in half between them. I have read countless opinions of their contemporaries who claim that Jeffries was as good as Dempsey, but was bigger and more powerful, and many say that Jeff would smash Dempsey to bits..... many also say that they had many similarities. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rocky versus Baer ??,... I was intrigued by the style and size matchup, I also wanted somebody who could test Rocky's chin. I think that Marciano would take this fight much more seriously than Max, and I think that alone would be enough of an edge.... Cool fight though.

I'd put odds on Marciano of 10 to 1 if I was the bookmaker for that one... lol.

I know he is, I think it's the way Louis dealt with him, a great character which boxing needs again........... But Marciano is badly underated around here.. I just see him as too strong and dynamic for Max.
