Satterfield was huge, almost a Heavyweight, LaMotta was a MW, Satterfield had a solid chin and Jake had less power against LHW's than Slapsie Maxie did.

Except that LaMotta actually knocked Satterfield out. Satterfield suffered a number of 1st and 2nd round KOs in his career.
