other than a bit of reading from the boxing register, and the boxrec, and some pictures, i don't know much about this man. lots of people mention him as a puncher. i've never seen him fight.

He sounds like an absolute nutcase. KO'd Lou Ambers for the LW title then went mental spending all his money on whiskey women and cars (per wiki). Fought with a broken neck vs Sammy Angott and went the 15rnd distance

Eventually won a Silver Star in WWII.

totally agree with the first one but not with ortiz who was sometimes underrated
for his overall ability but people like Ike williams and others were harder punchers
