As I said, Ketchel could ko anyone at 160 and even 168. But its not like all he had was a big, no HUGE, punch. He could actually box some too. Not exactly SRR in that department, but he was a decent boxer.

By the skills thing, I mean how moderns see it, there are skills that people see and skills people don't....... Ketchel was the latter,,.... I was basically quoting Jack Doc Kearns, he was comparing Ketchel to Darcy.Comment

How would Ketchel fare against these mw greats of our time? I can see him koing Jones if he managed to catch him flush. Same goes for Hopkins. Even Toney's fabulous chin wouldn't necessarily hold up if he got hit flush. McClellan would be the most exciting fight. There it would be the first guy to land a bomb wins. And that would probably be G-Man, with his speed. So I actually give him the best chance to beat Ketchel.Comment
