Tommy Morrison fits this description well. Could put together some very good combos and had a lot of power, but if someone caught him clean he folded like nothing.
Herbie Hide also fits this description well. Terrible chin, but even when hurt still could wildly do a lot of damage.
Julian Jackson and Felix Trinidad both fit this catagory, but at least Trinidad had very good recooperative ability and Jackson could take a fair amount of punishment when need be.
Best example I can think of is Tony Mundine Snr., Here was a fighter who had the lot,.. but he was a glass cannon, Monzon, Briscoe & Kahu Mahunga knocked him into next week, But there is a proviso.......... How many Middleweights hit as hard as Briscoe or Mahunga ????.. ---------- Either of them were punchers of extracallibrastic-Nuclearfusion-Bombadiers-from-the-5th-Dimension.......LOL... you get the picture..... And of course we all know about Monzon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mundine also hit with similar power and was a very clever boxer, very fast, killer instict, who threw big combinations, and when Tony landed a flush bomb they usually went for a long sleep. I believe he would have been MW champion if he only had Basilio's chin.

          Emphasis on the question mark.
          Floyd definitely fits this catagory.

He was an offensive machine at times. Fast as hell and a deadly puncher.

but he got dropped a lot. just couldnt stand up to punishment.
