Whatcha think of him? Looked like a decent fighter, beat some good names...a past it Julian Jackson, Otis Grant, Rodney Toney, Gilbert Baptist. Lost a ten round decision to a young Terry Norris. Not by a shutout. He lost the title to Keith Holmes, did anybody see that fight? Gonna try and find it. Seems like he had good speed and decent power.

I remember that Sugar Ray Leonard thought he was something special, tried to give him a push to get him over, and then nothing Quincy ever did in the ring ever really got my attention. -
His problem is, he got into pro boxing too late and it took him 9 years to win the title. By then he was no longer at his peak. He only beat Jackson coz Jackson was far past prime himself. Gotta say tho that the Holmes fight got stopped too soon.Comment
