How would you define boxing IQ? Would you define it as the ability to adapt in fights or the overall skill level of a fighter?

In ring strategy basically. For example knowing what punches to throw and when to throw them. It doesn't have to be the ability to adapt. A fighter's ability (skill) allows him to execute what he's thinking about every second so it contributes to ring IQ. The greater the fighter's said abilities the better he will put into practice what he's thinking.

An excellent example of Mayweather's ring IQ is shown here albeit against a washed up opponent:

Mayweather doesn't use his jab a lot and he doesn't use much footwork either.

Dude. You have absolutely no credibility when it comes to talking about Whitaker. You're the biggest Sweet Pea hater on this site.

Mayweather doesn't use his jab or have any footwork? How long have people been watching boxing again?
