Graham's biggest weakness was his stamina, not his chin (which was ok up to the very top tier and even then it took some famously big hitters to get him out of the way).
That said, few fighters (including those at the very top) possessed the natural talents he did. I urge anyone to watch him in his prime.

His greatest strengths were also his weaknesses. The man was unorthodox and untraditional, but you can't expect to be a dominant force with a style like his. He lost to McCallum and Kalambay because there was more flash than substance to him, and against a puncher like Jackson you can't take as many chances as Graham did no matter how good your reflexes are.

Good posts everyone, and.i completely agree with you A, his greatest strengths were his weakness. He didn't seem to do any one thing great, and it seems just tried to punches albeit sooo talemted but it seemed he just landed whatever punches he could land as if no game plan, but damn was he nice with it.

Now don't get me wrong, Herol Graham was a terrific fighter and is one of my all-time favorites. Anyone who hasn't seen him fight should.
There's no shame in losing a close decision to and ATG like McCallum and unless one has an truly great chin there's always a risk of getting rendered senseless by Jackson. What IS a shame is that Graham only really got those two shots at the top: He deserved better then that.
