Unlike many fighters who feel uncomfortable discussing their weaknesses Eubank has always been incredibly honest. I think the truth is if every fighter showed as much honesty you'd find such admissions commonplace.

ANY punch - especially one thrown by a ferocious puncher like Benn - delivered to the body hurts. Being repeatedly floored and/or stopped by body punches demonstrates that you are "VERY weak" to body punching. ADMITTING that you are hurt by body punches just means you are honest. Nothing more.

Looking at Eubank's entire career there is very little evidence to suggest he was weak to body punches. He was never KOd and I don't think he was ever floored by a body punch. Which, in my mind, kind of puts this myth to bed.

On the other hand I will concede that Eubank's highly unorthodox methods of shedding weight before a fight did cause him to drop intensity in the latter rounds. In the second Watson fight he was physically shattered and seemingly on his way to a sizable points defeat. It was only through what I can only describe as superhuman effort (and a bit of luck) that he defied the odds and KOd Watson in astonishing and tragic style.

A fight against Graziano would be entertaining but Eubank was an enormous Super Middle. I think it would be tough for Graziano to overcome the physical handicap. The Eubank that defeated Benn in their first encounter would inflict some pretty heavy damage. People kind of forget that prior to the Watson bout and becoming gun shy Eubank was a murderous puncher. If you watch his prior fights he's not just knocking guys out - he's knocking them senseless. Benn has claimed that Eubank was a very close second to McClellan in terms of punching power and I think that would be simply too much for the lighter Graziano.
See that post TROJANSBABY ??????...... That's how you put forward an argument for a fighter..... notice the CALM running through point after point, without getting heated in any way ?????????...... notice the way he makes you take notice of what he says ???? -------------------------- Very good post man.
