I wanted to make it a bit tough,... most of the answers are on my threads... but I know there will need to be some checking on Boxrec and other google sites..... Just see how many you can find mate..... a look through Boxrec for say Sam Langfords career will give you the answers.... and at least half of the questions are not Australian boxing.... and I take it that you have seem Fenech Vs Nelsom 1............. 50% would be a good result.

Very good,.... but not quite perfect,... you missed a flyweight....... Les Darcy was an ATG,. there was another Aussie to knock Manny down,.. I've seen it and have the video... I won't give that answer.... The Hennebury V Abrams fight.. from the report I had, said Henneberry beat Georgie...... I didn't know that fact about Rose but it's not the answer I'm looking for,. It's what he'll always be remembered for,.... At least 15 and a half points...... You are right about McCoy,,....... he lost about seven newspaper decisions during his time as "champion",...... and some idiots claimed that Al McCoy was THE MW Champion ahead of Darcy ????/.... a travesty,,,... THE TRAVESTY...... I rate McCoy only 13th best MW of the 1910's...... Darcy was the number one...... Even Boxrec rates him #1....... Look forward to more Quizzes.... there will be a Daecy question on each McGoorty quiz. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------MATE, YOU DID A BRILLIANT JOB....... you must be a quick typer,,,,,,,,

I was of course just joking about Darcy!

The Abrams-Henneberry fight is listed as a draw by both BoxRec and cyberboxingzone - so have they both got it wrong?.

"It's what he'll always be remembered for", you say about Rose. Well, he will of course always be remembered for being the first aborigine to win a world title. But the question was: Lionel Rose was the first fighter to do what? So I presume, you're looking for something he did... rather than was?
