Depends how you define a great fight.

I'd say a "great fight" in terms of excitement has to be relatively even (Frazier vs Ali I)
If you're talking about the magnitude of the fight yes, it has a claim to be the greatest.

Historically I guess Sullivan Corbett, Johnson Jeffries, Louis Schmelling and Ali Frazier 1 are the bench marks I guess. Only Ali Frazier 1 ticked every box IMO so personally that would be top for me.

If you just mean the action, definitely not.

Id rather watch a longer more competitive fight personally

One of my favourite 1st round destructions tho and because it came from my second favourite fighter ever its even sweeter!

Obviously its Hugely significant historically too, can u imagine being around for a fight of that magnitude.......

Action wise tho, too short and too one sided to be a truely GREAT fight

Oh I see. In terms of what the fight meant, considering the war, this fight was the greatest?

Internationally probably. I bet a lot of people followed that.

Everybody in the country must have followed Johnson vs Jeffries though. It was so racially based and tense.
