                The results are in:

Heavyweight Monte Barrett (35-9-2, 20 KOs) outboxed WBO #3 rated David Tua (52-4-2, 43 KOs) over ten rounds to win a unanimous decision on Saturday night at the Telstra Clear Events Centre in Auckland, New Zealand. Tua knocked down Barrett in round twelve, but it wasn’t enough as Barrett won 114-113, 115-112, 115-112. Barrett and Tua fought to a surprising draw in July 2010 and this was to be Tua’s revenge rematch, however instead it turned out to be the 40-year-old Barrett’s first win in over three years and Tua’s career as a serious contender is likely over.

Tyson KO1 Spinks is the #1 GREATEST 1st round BLITZ for me both for what happened in the ring and also because of the overall significance of it. Two undefeated heavyweight champions fighting for the UNDISPUTED heavyweight championship of the world in a true Superfight that that was downright RIPE when it finally happened.

                    voted for a 5.5

he was just ****ing on him with the left hand really

he was (to use a bernard hopkinsism,) throwing that jab away
                    and just ****ing on him

he switched it up a bit in the end and threw the uppercut, but a worthy opponent shouldn't be getting hit with that stuff

pretty awesome display of power, though, for a BW
but i've seen far more clinical offensive diplays

knocking him essentially out of the ring twice though is impressive

straight punches sent a man straight back, and if he's not standing on a sound base, he's going down

The sheer fear from Spinks somewhat taints it imo, not that it would have mattered - Tyson would have KO'd a Rhino that night!
