Doesn't matter on this thread, I don't care if they were prelim fighters, all that matters is could they ****, did they blow your mind ? and that there's footage........ although I'm going to bring up JOE CHOYNSKI who was certainly a great ****er.

I just found out the reason why Elley Bennett never fought for the world title. Apparently Vic Toweel raised the COLOUR BAR and refused Bennett the shot......... was the real reason simply pure fear ?????????,....... I think so........ Bennett was a fighter to be feared. And here was me thinking the colour bar dissapeared in the 20's, but it seems it went on into the 50's.

I can't believe it but I forgot about Eddie McGoorty, his corkscrew left hook was pure dynamite. Eddie knocked out Heavyweights.

Jose Luis Ramirez, he had 82 kos in 102 wins! And he doesn't get mentioned enuff, prolly because he lived in France for a long time...he could **** with the best of them, even Chavez. That fight got stopped too soon. He stopped Rosario in a great war too.

82 KO's in 102 wins is astounding, I didn't know that little(BIG) fact. He must have had lead in those hands.
