Rocky Marciano vs Joe Frazier

In this "Title Bout" DREAM fight between two great heavyweight champions, the action started early and ended early as Rocky kept his undefeated record alive with a convincing 2nd round TKO victory over Frazier. Joe came out smoking in the first and stunned Rocky mid way through the round with his trademark left hook, but Rocky took the shot well and despite losing the first round, came on very aggressive in the 2nd. In the 2nd, a combination from Rocky sent Joe to the canvas (down goes Frazier!!) and Frazier only barely beat the count at 9 and was obviously in huge trouble. Showing incredible killer instinct, Rocky moved in for the finish, staggering Frazier with a right cross and then knocking him down again (down goes Frazier!!) with a powerful right hook. Frazier somehow got to feet at the count of 2 but was obviously in no condition to continue and so the referee stopped the fight.



Result: Rocky Marciano KO2 Joe Frazier
Time of KO: 2:41 of the 2nd round.
Scores at the Time of stoppage: All 3 judges, 10-9 Frazier.

Contrary to most I expected an early KO from both. Both will go at each others throat and it might be an early KO. Frazier was a slow starter.

Rocky might not have Foreman power , but he did have more snap in his punches. I think I expect at least more 1 punch KO's from Rocky, Louis than George.

A friend of mine plays an online boxing simulation which he says is pretty cool but I can't think of the name. Anyone got some ideas? I wouldn't mind signing up.

Ron had a weird chin. Sometimes Solid, sometimes not.
