I got Holmes by UD or late KO

He already knew how, he just couldn't pull it off anymore.

#2. Jess Willard Vs Jack Johnson

Jack Johnson by TKO

#3. Rocky Marciano Vs Joe Louis

Joe Louis by mid TKO/KO. Louis was rated the best puncher of all time by Ring Magazine, Marciano was not going to simply eat his punches all night and keep coming.

#4. Jack Dempsey Vs Gene Tunney

Dempsey by KO

#5. Jim Corbett Vs John L. Sullivan

John L Sullivan by KO

Now this one I really think could go either way.

Well it was a mission to quote it like this due to all the damn formatting, but that's how I think it would go.

I'd like to add two pretty common ones. Ali-Frazier and Ali-Foreman.

Ali himself said his chin was weaker in his prime, and he definitely hit harder post '71. I think he might do worse against these fighters, but lose? I don't know

1. still tyson....larry was great i think a swarming puncher was his weakness

2. was a fix so johnson by ko

3. joe luis by decision

4. hard one i say dempsey by ko or tunney by a very close decision

5 and 6 no tape of corbet sullivan or jefries(prime) for me to answer this one

but it hink it would got to the cards like 10-5 for louis

Holmes with a slight edge over Tyson, IMO. I think Holmes would win a decision, but there isn't much in it. Tyson would get his chances.

Johnson slaps Willard about, but again struggles late in the fight. Still wins a wide decision, but Willard is asking some questions late-on.

Louis, brutally & inside the distance. Two different class of fighters.

Another close one. I like Dempsey to stop Tunney, but it's near even-money. Tunney would be in with every chance, & win or lose, troubles any version of Dempsey.

Corbett-Sullivan, I'm just not that comfortable without the footage.

I think Jeffries would find Johnson & finish him in his peak years.

Johnson Vs Jeffries - Johnson close UD in the best fight of the bunch

Tyson vs Holmes. Holmes puts that jab out with authority which troubles Tyson who can't seem to find a consistent rhythmn. Holmes UD.

Williard vs Johnson. Agree with WBY that Johnson wins early but, the huge stamina of Williard coupled with the fact he's much heavier, lead to Johnson being very tired which could create scary moments but, a Johnson UD.

Louis vs Marciano - Apart from the first two rounds or so when Louis is getting started, it's plain sailing landing heavy punches at ease until Rocky's corner get him out of there somewhere around round 9.

Dempsey vs Tunney - Tunney still grabs a Unanimous decision despite being dropped a few times in the early rounds. Once Tunney gets his movement going Dempsey will get frustrated and struggle to land any huge shots.

Corbett vs Sullivan - Corbett still too clever for the Boston Strong Boy and wins a decision.

Johnson vs Jeffries - Johnson winning comfortably until the late rounds where Jeffries' superior strength and stamina come into play. He wobbles Johnson and possibly gets a knockdown but, Johnson recovers well and hangs on (literally) to reach the final bell and get the decision victory.
