If heart and excitment were critera I definately say yes. If skill and achievement were the the primary factors for enshrinement into the hall I would definately understand arguments against it.

Yep they said Gatti was the most Rocky like fighter in the sport and had the biggest heart .I think he deserves a place .Especially the Ward fight's .They will go down in history for a long time. Also Rocky got in man for the movies.

Ward is another one who was all do or die stuff, at least against Gatti, but they are a breed that go WAYYYYYY back and there have been many, Jeff Fenech was of that breed, so was Fred Hennebury "and the Beat goes on".

It would appear to me that Gatti went WAY beyond Fenech in terms of the do-or-die stuff.
