          Tough to pick a better 6 years that I can think of but for me, I'd trade it all away for 1985 to 1990, that my my Golden Era of Boxing.

                That definitely was the best era for talent and depth. Not quite the greatest fights ever though.

                  Late 40s early 50s had tail end of Louis beginning of Marciano, Ezzard Charles, Archie Moore, Kid Gavilan, Pep, Sadler, Williams, La Motta Cerdan and a fellow by the name of Sugar Ray Robinson to name a few.
                  Think golden ages can be very personal too I.e. The age you first discovered boxing is golden to you.
