that's a tiny man compared to the 230 plus ibeabuchi
with a one foot inch advantage in reach

at his heaviest during his prime he was no larger than 170, and that was after drinking all week
ike would lift his front foot off the ground when he threw the right hand, even if it was blocked

now if you picked somebody smaller,
not even of the same size as walker but markedly smaller than ibeabuchi, given walker's track record, i'd probably give him a good chance

lets say carl froch, about as big as you can get at SMW with good skills and conditioning and a great chin and fighting spirit
but not world beater or insurmountable force in the ATG sense (like say bob foster at 175, against whom walker would stand virtually no chance)

i think walker would be competitive with froch
but get stopped rather quickly by ibeabuchi

Considering Walker held Sharkey to a draw, Walker has a chance. P4P Walker is far far better, miles ahead.

ibeabuchi was no slouch
he had a ton of weaponry and very good skills
he could punch, he could box, he had a very good jab and head movement
he had a great engine for a gigantic man. he participated in the most active HW fight ever recorded by the compubox (which has been around for decades at this point covering most of the big fights,) against david tua

if they were the same size we all know who would be favored


but they aren't even close to the same ballpark




curiously, what do you think walker is going to do out there that's going to win him the fight?

I've seen the Schmelling-Walker fight, and Mickey looked like the epitome of a fat middleweight who had no business is the ring with a top heavyweight. His draw with Sharkey reflects badly on Sharkey, IMO. Ibeabuchi would dwarf both Schmelling and Sharkey, and just about every other middleweight as well. They have weight classes for a reason.
