The best example of two fighters each at their absolute best, meeting in a legendary fight was Barrera vs Moralles 1.

Chris Eubank vs Nigel Benn 1 was well matched close to the prime's of each.

Moralles/Barrera and Benn/Eubank were both better in their 2nd fights IMO

I would say Barrera -Morales I

both prime &peak, both arguably ATG's , both proud Mexicans with something to prove, with a very bitter rivalry ....they lived up to it and produced one of the greatest fights ever.
